What the report looks like
This is a real audit from a real HVAC company in Coeur d'Alene, with the name and web address blacked out. Nothing here is made up for illustration — the scores, timings and findings are exactly what came back.

Google PageSpeed scores (mobile)
Core Web Vitals
Google's measurements of how the site feels to a visitor, rather than what is on it. They affect both position in search results and whether people stay long enough to call.
How long until the page looks loaded?
Eight seconds before the main image or headline appears. Google wants this under 2.5. On a phone away from wi-fi, most people have already gone back to the results and tapped the next company.
Does the page jump around while loading?
Nothing moves once it starts drawing. Nothing to fix here.
Is the page frozen while it loads?
Taps and scrolls respond straight away. Nothing to fix here.
What I found — 10 items
You're missing from Apple Maps
A search of Apple Maps did not find this business. Roughly half the phones in the US are iPhones, and when those owners ask Siri or Apple Maps for a contractor nearby, the results come from Apple's listings. A business that isn't there simply doesn't appear for that half of the market — and the listing is free to claim.
The main content takes too long to appear
Largest Contentful Paint measures when the biggest element becomes visible. Google wants this under 2.5 seconds. This homepage took 8.1.
Search engines can't read your business details
The site doesn't tell Google its name, address, hours and phone number in the format it expects. Competitors who do this can show opening hours, star ratings and a map pin directly in search results, while this business appears as a plain blue link.
No star ratings in search results
Review markup is what produces the gold stars under a search result. Without it, a competitor with stars draws the eye first, whatever the actual reputation.
Opening hours aren't machine-readable
Marked-up hours let Google show “Open now” or “Closes 5PM” beside a listing. That single line measurably increases calls.
Your address isn't machine-readable
Even though the address is printed on the page, it isn't marked up in a way search engines can extract with confidence — which weakens local map rankings.
No contact form
Visitors outside business hours have no way to leave their details, so after-hours interest is lost instead of captured.
Images have no text descriptions
16 of the 18 images on the homepage have no alt text. That costs image-search traffic and creates accessibility problems.
No email address published
Some customers will not use a form. An email address gives them a second way to make contact.
Copyright year is out of date
The footer still reads 2024. A visibly old date signals an abandoned site to visitors — a trust problem more than a technical one.
